Former McCormick & Company Executive Brings 20+ Years of Experience
Morton Salt, Inc. announced today that Elizabeth (Betsey) Nohe has joined the company in the newly-created role of Vice President, Supply Chain. Nohe is responsible for leading Morton Salt’s supply chain function across all company operations in the United States, Canada and the Bahamas. Nohe reports to Chief Executive Officer Mark Roberts and she serves as a member of the company’s leadership team.
Nohe joins Morton Salt from McCormick & Company, where she had built an extensive career spanning more than 20 years. At McCormick, she held a variety of logistics, warehousing, customer service, planning, scheduling, manufacturing, procurement, IT, and internal consulting positions. Most recently, Nohe held a newly-created position at McCormick focused on harmonizing global procurement processes.
Prior to taking on this role, she served as Vice President, Supply Planning and Customer Fulfillment for McCormick’s Consumer Products division in the United States, where she was responsible for customer logistics, demand planning and supply planning. In this capacity, she delivered many notable results, including the design and implementation of a customer logistics organization. In addition, she was responsible for integrating the company’s largest acquisition into core supply chain planning and logistics functions.
“Betsey’s diverse background and experience across all aspects of the supply chain will deliver valuable insights and outcomes at Morton Salt as we continue to focus on optimizing our supply chain operations,” said Roberts.
Nohe earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Rutgers College of Engineering. She earned an MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore, Md. and she is currently pursuing her PhD in Management from Walden University. Nohe also holds the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation through APICS, The Association for Operations Management.
Nohe is on the Board of Directors and is a past president of INNterim Housing Corporation, a transitional housing program for homeless women and their children in the Baltimore area.
