WAVES water softener salt bars are made with the same high-quality water softener salt formulas that is used in our pellets. They are compressed at extreme pressure to form our new patented bar shape. No bonding agents or glues are used to produce Morton^® WAVES^®.

WAVES water softener salt bars are sold in packs of four (4) 5lb bars, which total 20lbs – you will need two (2) packs of WAVES water softener salt bars to equal one (1) 40lb bag. So, if you currently use one (1) 40lb bag per month, you will use two (2) packs of Morton^® WAVES^® water softener bars per month. (Exact amounts may vary based on your personal rate of water consumption).

WAVES water softener salt bars can completely replace your current Morton crystal or pellet water softener salt — or, you can choose to use both Morton crystals and pellets AND WAVES water softener salt bars in your softener at the same time. Pound-for-pound, WAVES water softener salt bars work the same way in your softener as our leading crystals and pellets. Morton WAVES water softener salt bars are designed and proven to work the same as our leading water softener salt pellets and crystals. There are no setting changes required to your softener unit when using WAVES. Morton WAVES water softener salt bars may chip or break during transportation. If this occurs, bars are still effective, simply add all pieces to the water softener unit

WAVES water softener salt bars were extensively tested to ensure it meets the same high-quality standards you’ve come to expect from Morton. In addition, we’ve received third party testing and validation from the Water Quality Association that WAVES water softener salt bars are compatible for use in all water softeners.
